Sutro Baths

Built in 1894, Sutro Baths was a large, privately-owned saltwater swimming pool in the Lands End area of San Francisco. Its tainted history aside, standing there I could imagine what a vibrant place it could’ve been for people to hang out there weather-permitting. It was our son’s first hike stroller-free. A walk along the Pacific Ocean on the Lands End trail is not a bad way to start.
