Birds are my favorite subjects to photograph, and for people like me, Vedanthangal is a paradise. It is the oldest wildlife sanctuary in India and serves as the migratory home to over 40,000 birds every year. I visited it for the first time back in December 2025 just at the onset of the migration. This is the first of two parts.
